PennWell locates the SmartSafe
SmartSafe is announced to ensure bilge oily water separator cannot be bypassed for fail-safe, automatic prevention of negligent or willful discharge of oil overboard. The PLC-based system uses software to monitor separate system diverter valve and flow rate — and cumulative flow through the discharge pipe — detecting any attempt to tamper.
